Kenya is a country of (at least!) 42 different tribes, and where (at least!) seventy languages are spoken, with Kenyan citizens having ethnic roots in Africa and across the world. It is therefore no surprise that Kenya’s cultural heritage is extraordinarily rich, with an intriguing past, a vibrant present and a future of unlimited potential. Along the full length of the cultural spectrum - literature, sports, arts & crafts, music & dance and fashion - Kenya has incredible depth and breadth of talent and a history to both inform and inspire. A community’s cultural traditions has the power to transcend ethnic boundaries, to provide insights that help to break down barriers of misunderstanding and to help forge a sense of national unity. It serves the purpose of safeguarding a past that provides a foundation that gives confidence to new generations to

The Naserian Foundation will engage with these communities supporting their endeavours and using their creative output to tell stories in an engaging manner to critical audiences. The foundation will showcase, record and highlight the very best local talent and work with the local community, the government and other institutions to further enhance the arts and culture scene in the country.
